Fit
Who this is for
ciedesigns is best suited for healthcare and financial-services organizations, regulated businesses, growing companies, and product teams that need experienced design leadership without expanding their permanent staff.
The studio is a strong fit for organizations modernizing an established website, developing an accessible digital product, improving a design system, or bringing greater structure to the path from research and strategy through design and implementation.
ciedesigns provides direct access to experienced designers, engineers and product strategists.
A good fit
- Healthcare organizations, health-information initiatives, and health-adjacent products
- Community banks, wealth-management practices, and financial-product teams
- Leaders who value accessible, maintainable design
- Teams that have engineering capacity and need focused product-design leadership
Probably not
- Large procurement processes that require a full-service agency
- Projects needing several designers working in parallel
- Open-ended production work without priorities or a decision maker
- Requests for a legal or compliance guarantee
Accessibility and regulated environments
Experience designing in environments shaped by HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA — with accessibility considered throughout the work.
ciedesigns has worked in environments shaped by HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA. Accessibility work is grounded most strongly in WCAG 2.2 AA and WAI-ARIA, with experience considering Section 508, the ADA, the European Accessibility Act, and the Accessible Canada Act. The applicable standards and depth of testing are defined for each project. This experience is not a certification, legal opinion, or guarantee of compliance.
A full accessibility review may combine accessibility checks during design, automated code testing, keyboard review, screen-reader review, browser testing, and manual WCAG evaluation. Not every engagement requires or includes every method.
